Red River Zoo - The Red River Zoo in Fargo, North Dakota is an award-winning zoological facility established in 1999 that specializes in breeding and exhibiting rare cold climate species across its beautifully landscaped 33-acre grounds. Accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums since 2006, the zoo houses over 600 animals representing 89 species, including notable success in breeding endangered red pandas, Sichuan takin, and Pallas's cats. The zoo features several unique exhibits including genetically rare bison from Wind Cave National Park, Eurasian lynx, Bactrian camels that visitors can feed, and White-Naped Cranes. A distinctive feature is the restored 1928 Diederich Family Carousel, and the zoo operates entirely on memberships, admissions, donations and grants rather than public funding.

Celebrity Walk Of Fame - The Fargo Celebrity Walk of Fame, located outside the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center, showcases over 110 celebrity signatures, handprints, and footprints preserved in cement. Founded in 1989 by local businessman Mike Stevens after being inspired by Mann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, the attraction was originally placed in front of his downtown print shop before being relocated to its current location in 2000. This free attraction features impressions from a diverse collection of celebrities spanning music, arts, politics, and sports, including Garth Brooks, Neil Diamond, KISS, Debbie Reynolds, and Jesse Ventura. Stevens privately funded the first 95 celebrities featured on the walk, considering it "a small way he could repay a community that's been so kind to him." The collection has continued to grow over the years and is available to visit 24 hours a day at 2001 44th St S, Fargo.

West Acres Mall Fountain - The West Acres Mall Fountain, officially known as the "Fountain of Abundance," stands as an iconic centerpiece within Fargo's largest shopping center. Created by artist Richard Szeitz, this beloved water feature serves as the backdrop for thousands of photos and memories, with its beauty enhanced seasonally through temporary art installations by local businesses and artists. Originally positioned in front of Dayton's when the mall opened in 1972, the fountain was relocated to the JCPenney front entrance in 2001 during food court construction. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the fountain also functions as a charitable collection point where visitors can toss coins that fund local charities and families in need, allowing patrons to "make a wish and make a difference."  The fountain area is designed with comfortable seating nearby, creating a relaxing oasis within the bustling shopping environment where visitors can pause and unwind.

Roger Maris Museum - The Roger Maris Museum, established in 1984 within Fargo's West Acres Shopping Center, honors the hometown baseball legend who broke Babe Ruth's single-season home run record with 61 homers in 1961. Created by Fargo American Legion members Robert Smith and James McLaughlin, the 70-foot glass-enclosed display case was only approved by Maris himself under the conditions that it be publicly accessible and free of charge, as he didn't want to capitalize on his success. This unique mall-based museum chronicles Maris's life and baseball career through an impressive collection of memorabilia including his uniforms, MVP awards, home run balls, and a replica of his 1961 Yankee locker. Fully renovated in 2003, the museum features a small theater where visitors can watch documentary footage while sitting in authentic Yankee Stadium seats from the Maris era. Though the museum doesn't track attendance specifically, with over 7 million annual mall visitors, "there is almost always someone viewing the memorabilia" of the Fargo native who died at age 51 in 1985 after a battle with lymphatic cancer.
